Sara Kulturhus Kinetic Sculpture
Using TouchDesigner I designed and wrote a custom tool to allow for the creation of animation curves to describe the motion of the sculpture.
The program samples bezier curves and sends the information, in the form of time and position, over serial to a Moog Animatics SmartMotor. It allows for an unlimited amount of animations as well as runtime editing of the curves using various motor parameters.
The piece itself was designed and built by Anna Torvaldsdotter and Gwylim Johnstone for the Sara Kulturhus in Skellefteå, Sweden.
